The event begins at 10:00 AM with the reception of guests, musical entertainment, and an exhibition of books from national publishers, including Alcance Editora, Gala-Gala Edições, Inter-Escola Editores, and Ethale Publishing.
During the morning, writer and professor António Cabrita will lead the workshop “The Art of Writing with the Senses,” exploring creative writing in its sensory dimension. Lunchtime will be at the Garden Grill, combining wines and gastronomy, followed by a book signing with author Ungulani Ba Ka Khosa, who, in the afternoon, will host the discussion “50 Years of a Poetic Country? Poetry of Combat in Reflection,” with an open space for readers, students, and other participants.
The program continues with the roundtable discussion “Poetry and the Meaning of Words,” with poet Rudencio Morais, before opening up to a series of sensory moments with Ira Fonseca (sound meditation), Bento Mário (mini talk Verses that Liberate), and cultural interaction activities.
The late afternoon will be dedicated to a conversation with José Carimo, followed by the performance Dimanhiça – Poemas Cantados, a tribute to José Craveirinha, bringing together literature and music in homage to Mozambique's greatest poet.
The evening concludes with live music by Eddy Dimande, accompanied by a curated selection of wines and books, followed by a performance by DJ Daroque Chill Out, providing the ideal environment for networking, sales, and sharing among writers, publishers, artists, and the public.
