Yassin Amuji, who is Executive at AMUJI Logistics, founder of the Vilankulo Tourism Association, owner of Vilankulo TV and President of the Yassin Amuji Foundation, highlighted on his social media the importance of this measure adopted in Matola, classifying it as a “courageous action” that deserves to be replicated in all municipalities in the country.
“"In Matola, the battle against the sale of 'xivotchongo' at school entrances, at taxi terminals, and other public places is ongoing. This is a courageous action that should be replicated in all municipalities across the country," he wrote.
The rampant sale of these beverages in places with a high concentration of young people has been criticized by various sectors of society, due to the negative impact it has on public health and safety, especially in school communities.
This meeting reflects the commitment of both parties to promote safer and healthier urban environments, especially for school-age children and adolescents.
