The young man known as Human Statue or simply Pure Young, The artist recovered his motorcycle just over 24 hours after it was stolen in the Malhangalene neighborhood of Maputo. The good news was shared by the artist himself on social media, where he expressed deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to the recovery of his means of work.
“"Hi Malta, I would like to express my immense gratitude to everyone who was involved in the recovery of my motorcycle! 🙏🥰 After going through moments of anxiety, today I can breathe a sigh of relief and celebrate with great joy the return of what was so important to me," he wrote.
For the street artist, the motorbike represents more than just transportation: it's an essential tool in their daily life, used to move around the neighborhoods of the capital, where they perform with their entire body painted, on various avenues, with the aim of entertaining the public and earning some money, often dependent on the generosity of passersby.
