The presenter and CEO of TV Sucesso, Gabriel Junior, shared in this Monday an open letter addressed to influencers and digital content creators, with the title “Shall we agree on something?”. In the message, published on social media, the face of the program Mozambique in Concert made an appeal to the conscience and responsibility of those who help to spread the program's contents.
Recognizing the importance of bloggers and digital pages in increasing the program's audience, Gabriel began by thanking them for their support and reinforcing the feeling of collective belonging: “We all know that the Mozambique in Concert program is owned by all of us”, he wrote.
However, the presenter expressed concern about the almost exclusive emphasis given to comical moments, unusual speeches or scenes that generate memes and go viral. “Miracles happen in this program,”, stressed, arguing that Mozambique in Concert goes far beyond entertainment: it is a space where faith, hope, transformation, love and new beginnings intersect.

As an example, he cited events from last Sunday, such as:
– Couples witnessing solid relationships;
– A pastor touching hearts with words of faith;
– A woman shot during demonstrations, saved with the support of the program;
– A solidarity campaign that raised almost half a million meticais for a young man who has lost his sight;
– The artist’s testimony Aquila and the husband about love and marriage;
– Several stories of overcoming and reconciliation.
“And almost no one talked about it”,“ he lamented. In contrast, it only took one or two young people to say something ”outside the box” for those moments to be spread across every page.
Despite the criticism, Gabriel Júnior adopted a conciliatory and constructive tone. He urged influencers to publish both sides—the funny and the transformative—and to be “messengers of good”, helping to build a positive narrative about the program and about Mozambique. “What generates likes can entertain, but what generates faith transforms”, he concluded.
The message generated widespread repercussions on social media, opening the way for reflection on the role of influencers in promoting content that contributes to raising social awareness and collective self-esteem.
