Bibas celebrates 31 years of life: a multifaceted artist.

This Thursday, June 12th, the Mozambican artist Abiba de Leonor Raul Mutemue, better known as Bibas, Bibas, celebrating her 31st birthday, is born in Maputo with roots in São Tomé and Príncipe. Today, she is one of the most versatile figures in the national artistic scene, standing out as a rapper, singer, actress, presenter, and lawyer.

Born on June 12, 1994, Bibas grew up between Nampula and Maputo, where she built most of her personal and professional life. She graduated in Law from Wutivi University in 2021 and currently resides in Nampula, where she works as a lawyer.

Bibas' passion for music emerged early, in 2010, when she joined the church choir. In 2012, she attempted a solo career, but without immediate success. However, the artistic flame remained lit until, in early 2020, Bibas officially presented herself to the public as a singer, joining the... Trap Boys Family, alongside Bander, DJ Pyto and Shabba Wonder. It was during this period that he released tracks such as “"Prague"”, “"Where Is Your Love?"” and “"Trophy"”, using the stage name "King Bibas", a title he would later abandon.

Despite everything seeming promising, in August of the same year, the artist decided to pursue a solo career. Her courage and persistence began to bear fruit, not only in music, but also in communication and acting. Bibas was the presenter of the program “"Celebrities"”, on the StrongLive TV channel, where she also demonstrated her talent as an actress in the series “Nakufeva”.

In May 2022, Bibas took another important step in his career by signing with... Sancara Entertainment, one of the most influential labels in Mozambican music. The partnership resulted in hits such as “"Great Mother"” and “"It's Pipoking"”, the latter in collaboration with Simon Silver.

Today, Bibas is an example of resilience, authenticity, and versatility, remaining true to her principles while building a career that intersects art, communication, and justice. At 31, she celebrates not only life but also her evolution as a woman, a professional, and an active voice in Mozambican culture.

Congratulations, Bibas!
