Mozambican singer Lizha James, recently appointed as Vice-President of the Creative and Cultural Industries Department of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), participated yesterday, June 9th, in her first official work meeting in the position.
The meeting, chaired by the president of CTA and attended by vice-presidents Teodósio Reis and Lizha James, focused primarily on designing a strategic, collaborative, and results-oriented model for action in the country's creative and cultural sector.
During the meeting, the first steps were outlined towards defining concrete objectives aimed at creating sustainable opportunities, valuing cultural agents, and integrating the sector into the national economic context. The presence of Lizha James, an unavoidable figure in Mozambican music, represents a clear sign of closer ties between the artistic community and economic decision-making structures.
