Mozambican singer Lizha James was sworn in this Thursday as Vice-President of the Creative and Cultural Industries Department of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA).

Known for her long and influential career in national music, Lizha will now officially represent the cultural and creative sector within the country's main business organization. Her appointment is seen as a significant step towards strengthening the link between the arts and economic development.
