Mozambican singer Hélio Beatz, one of the names of the new generation that has stood out in the pandza genre, has been touring Europe since the last week of May. The artist arrived in Portugal with the aim of promoting the musical style rooted in Mozambique and, at the same time, connecting with the African community residing in the country.
On May 31st, Hélio Beatz participated in the event. Afrobeats Experience – The First Dance, The performance, held in Lisbon, featured a repertoire that blends pandza with influences from afro-house and kizomba. The performance served to showcase the sounds that define Mozambique's musical landscape to the Portuguese public and to reinforce the presence of pandza outside of Portugal.
