It was on Monday morning, June 2, 2025, that the Mozambican comedian Uncle Yado performed Official presentation of scholarships for obtaining a driver's license., a commitment made last year to the comedians of Tete province.

Tete Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism and the Local government, entities that provided important support to make the project viable. The scholarships were formalized with the BIANNA Driving School, the institution responsible for providing the training.

The project was launched in 2024, having initially registered 15 comedians. In 2025, the year the scholarships were officially awarded, the number of beneficiaries rose to... 25 artists, This demonstrates the growing acceptance and impact of the initiative among the artistic community of the province.
In commenting on the achievement, Tio Yado highlighted institutional support as essential:
“We thank the Government of Tete, especially the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, for believing in and supporting this visionary project that has now become a reality.”
