Mozambican rapper Hernâni da Silva was present yesterday at the Costa do Sol stadium to closely follow his team's debut in the 2025 edition of the Moçambola, which officially kicked off this weekend. Accompanied by fellow rapper Kloro Killa, Hernâni cheered on the first matchday of the championship, which ended in a goalless draw between Costa do Sol and Textáfrica do Chimoio.
Despite the result falling short of expectations for the "canarinhos" (Brazilian national team) fans, the atmosphere in the stands made up for the lack of excitement on the field. In a social media post, Hernâni wrote: “"The European leagues are over and the Moçambola begins!! The first match ended in a tasteless draw between my Costa do Sol and Textáfrica GDRT, except for the cool atmosphere on the field. Shout out Kloro Killa."”
The presence of figures from the national hip-hop movement such as Hernâni and Kloro is a clear sign of the growing support of urban culture for Mozambican sport, promoting a link between music and football that continues to strengthen.

Costa do Sol, one of the most decorated teams in the country, started the season with renewed ambitions, and despite the draw, the fans remain confident in a solid campaign. The season has only just begun, and all eyes are on the upcoming matches to see how the team will perform on the pitch.
The Moçambola is officially back — with football, music, and passion in the stands.
