Noma's returns to hip-hop 15 years later with the album “MassengaHomu”

This Saturday, April 26th, the Mozambican hip-hop community will be gathered at X Hub – Creative Incubator, Starting at 10 AM, to celebrate a landmark moment: the album launch. “MassengaHomu”, which marks the return of Noma's to the music scene, after a long hiatus of 15 years.

After a hiatus due to personal and professional reasons, Noma's returns with a project that promises maturity, reflection, and authentic lyricism—characteristics that have always defined his art. The release will be more than just a musical event: it will be a symbolic reunion with the past and an affirmation of the present in a context where the challenges of making a living exclusively from music continue to be a reality for many hip-hop artists in Mozambique.

The event will feature performances by special guests, panel discussions, and opportunities for sharing between generations of rappers and fans of the movement. “MassengaHomu” aims to be a cry of artistic resistance in a country where culture, especially music, still faces serious obstacles to its full development.
