Fokiss Júnior will join Yolanda Kakana and Roberto Chitsondzo at the Marrabenta Festival in February.

Singer Fokiss Júnior, known for his hit song "Empoderada Errada" in the Amapiano genre, will perform at the 18th edition of the Marrabenta Festival. The event celebrates the richness of traditional Mozambican music and will also feature renowned artists such as Yolanda Kakana, vocalist of Banda Kakana, and Roberto Chitsondzo, teacher, musician, composer and performer, among other acclaimed artists.

The festival, which promises to be a true cultural spectacle, will take place over two days. On February 2nd, the performances will be held in Marracuene, at the historic Gwazamuthini, starting at 4 PM. On February 3rd, the event will take place at the Mozambique-China Cultural Center in Maputo, beginning at 6 PM.

The participation of Fokiss Júnior, alongside icons of Marrabenta, reinforces the diverse and intergenerational character of the festival, which unites contemporary and traditional styles. The Marrabenta Festival reaffirms itself as an important stage for the promotion and preservation of Mozambican music, promising to enchant lovers of national culture.
