DJ Damost's career began as a rapper, co-founding the group with Nstar. However, it wasn't until 1996, when he joined Denny OG to form the group Auto Squad, that he took on the role of DJ, establishing himself as "the mix freak" in 1997. Since then, his skill and talent on the turntables have stood out, earning him a respected place in the Mozambican music industry.
In 1998, Damost took another major step forward by signing a contract with Rádio Cidade, where he remains to this day. His presence on the radio led to him becoming the official DJ of the Presidency of the Republic of Mozambique in 2000, which significantly increased his visibility and influence. Over the years, he has also stood out as the official DJ for events such as MOZAMBIQUE FASHION WEEK, MMA, and COPA COCA COLA, in addition to establishing partnerships with international brands such as Pepsi and MTN.
In addition to his musical career, in 2018, DJ Damost founded CONTACTO.INVESTIMENTOS.LTD, a company focused on cultural exchange between Mozambicans in the diaspora and those established locally. He also launched his brand TomeNota, which represents youth, self-esteem, and success, solidifying his position as a cultural influencer.
