The bonuses for qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) and for the national team's victory in Bissau will be paid within one or two months, as assured by the president of the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) in an interview with Radio Mozambique (RM).
According to the official, the FMF is working closely with partners to secure the necessary funding, which exceeds the usual amounts. Each member of the delegation will receive 300,000 meticais for qualifying for the tournament and 90,000 meticais for the victory achieved against Guinea-Bissau. These amounts are intended to reward the hard work and dedication shown by the players, coaching staff, and other members of the delegation during the qualifying campaign.
The president of the FMF reaffirmed the organization's commitment to honoring payments, acknowledging the importance of valuing the results achieved by the national team. However, he stressed that obtaining the total amount depends on the continued support of partners and sponsors.

The prize money will undoubtedly be an additional incentive for the team to continue raising Mozambique's profile on the continental football scene.
