The annual event of the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF), known as the FMF Awards – Football Gala, has been postponed due to the current political instability in Mozambique. Initially scheduled for December 3rd, the event, which celebrates and rewards the most outstanding figures in national football, will be rescheduled for a new date to be announced when conditions are suitable for its realization.
The FMF Awards is a prominent initiative in national sport, recognizing players, coaches, referees, and managers for their achievements throughout the year. Furthermore, it values the work of partners who contribute to the development of Mozambican football.
The Federation emphasizes that it will announce the new date as soon as possible, ensuring a dignified and safe event. This postponement reflects the FMF's commitment to guaranteeing the quality and integrity of the gala, at a time when national security demands priority.
