Bandırmaspor draws away from home and maintains second position in the Turkish Second Division.

Bandırmaspor, the team where Mozambican international Mexer Sitoe plays, secured an important point by drawing 2-2 away to the Turkish second division leaders, Kocaelispor. Bandırmaspor had taken the lead, but ended up conceding the equalizer in the final minutes.

The match started with a flurry of action, with Kocaelispor opening the scoring in the 32nd minute. However, Bandırmaspor responded quickly with a goal from A. Nukan in the 39th minute, taking the game to halftime tied.

In the second half, Bandırmaspor turned the score around in the 56th minute, benefiting from an own goal by J. Vuković. However, victory slipped away in the dying moments of the game when Kocaelispor scored in the 90+3 minute, sealing the final draw.

Mexer Sitoe, who started on the bench, was brought on in the 78th minute to help the team hold onto their lead, but he couldn't prevent the opponent's late goal.

With this result, Bandırmaspor now has 25 points, just one less than the leader Kocaelispor, maintaining its second position in the standings after 13 rounds. The team remains firmly in the fight for the lead and promotion to the Turkish first division.

The next match will be crucial for Bandırmaspor's aspirations, as they seek to return to winning ways and put pressure on the league leaders in the final stretch of the championship.
