The breast cancer awareness event, promoted by Mozambican actress Jujú Rombe and originally scheduled for October 26th, has been postponed. The new date will be November 9th, as announced by the actress herself in a video posted on her social media. In addition to maintaining the focus on Pink October, the initiative will also include Blue November, addressing both breast cancer and prostate cancer.
The event will continue to be held at the same location and under the same conditions previously announced, with the only change being the postponement of the date. Jujú Rombe justified the decision as a response to the tumultuous situation the country is going through, seeking to guarantee the best possible experience for the participants. The merging of the Pink October and Blue November campaigns reinforces the need for awareness about preventive health for men and women.
