Mozambique Women's National Team Final Preparation for the 2024 COSAFA Cup

The Mozambique Women's National Football Team faces Zimbabwe tomorrow in its debut match of the 12th edition of the COSAFA Cup, in Group D. In preparation for this important match, the team will conduct an adaptation training session on the pitch at Saints FC-Gelvandale in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, today at 3:00 p.m. This training session is crucial for adjusting the team to the field conditions and ensuring they are physically prepared, especially after the long two-day trip.

Under Victor Matine's command, the focus will be on the players' physical recovery, ensuring they are in good condition to face Zimbabwe. The group has also been strengthened with the addition of Cidália "Ninika" Cuta and Lónika Tsanwane, who joined the team last Sunday after arriving late and missing training in Maputo.

Placed in Group D, alongside Zimbabwe and Lesotho, Mozambique has the mission of achieving a positive result in its debut, increasing its chances of advancing in the competition and having a good campaign in the COSAFA Cup.
