Hassane Jr., the coach responsible for taking Brera Tchumene to the elite of Mozambican football (Moçambola), recently completed a training internship in Portugal, where he honed his skills with Sporting Clube de Braga's under-23s and with the main team of Feirense, which competes in the Portuguese second division.
After leaving Brera at the beginning of the season, Hassane left for Portugal in search of new knowledge and experiences that could enhance his skills. In an interview, he emphasized the importance of this period, highlighting the attention to detail and the pursuit of perfection he witnessed at Braga. "It was different. It's interesting to see how 'obsessed' they are with detail and the pursuit of perfection, minimalist in the pre-, during, and post-training process. There's a lot of emphasis on video analysis and scouting, everyone working towards the same goal," explained the young coach.
After his experience at Braga, Hassane had the opportunity to join Feirense's senior coaching staff, where he worked alongside head coach Vitor Martins. "At Feirense, unlike at Braga, I managed a senior team. I learned a lot from Mr. Vitor Martins, who has vast knowledge, having worked with names like Lopetegui and Luís Castro. It was an experience that certainly made me a better coach," said Hassane, praising Feirense's coaching staff.
Regarding Brera Tchumene's current performance in the Moçambola, Hassane expressed confidence. The team, which he helped promote, faces some challenges, but the coach believes that maintaining the top division is possible. "I watched Brera's matches in the Moçambola. The team managed to impose itself in several matches, but lacked luck in the finishing. Retention depends 100% on us, and we have the skills to achieve it," he stated.
Hassane Jr. will return to Mozambique for the end-of-year festivities and will closely monitor the final stretch of Brera Tchumene's Moçambola campaign. On matchday 20, the club will face Baía de Pemba in a crucial match in Cabo Delgado.
With the knowledge acquired in Portugal and the desire to apply what he learned to Mozambican football, Mr. Hassane Jr. promises to continue his growth trajectory in football, always striving for the development and success of the teams he leads.
