Maxaquene secured a commanding victory by defeating Ferroviário de Inhambane 5-1 in the fourth round of the Série "B" qualifying round for the 2025 Moçambola Championship in the South Zone. The "tricolor" team dominated the match from start to finish, with Simão scoring two of the first goals in the 8th and 38th minutes. Paulino (56'), Franke (72') and Kito (84') extended the lead, securing a comfortable victory for Maxaquene.
Ferroviário de Inhambane still managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Ngotine in the 62nd minute, but it was not enough to threaten Maxaquene's superiority.
With this victory, Maxaquene now has nine points, positioning itself better in the fight for qualification to the 2025 Moçambola. Ferroviário de Inhambane, on the other hand, remains with just one point, complicating its chances in the competition.
