Danilo Malele, born in 1981, is a Mozambican rapper who performs as Kloro. Influenced by his older brother, radio broadcaster Hélder Leonel, who was part of the first Mozambican rap group, Rappers Unit, he chose Hip Hop as his form of expression.
Following the afternoons at Txova in the 90s, in 1997, alongside Cinzel and Kaus, they formed Trio Fam, and performed for the first time on the program “Clássico Hip-Hop Time”, on Rádio Cidade with a freestyle.
Due to the impact of the performance, he decided he should pursue a career with his group, which later became part of Track Records. Singles from this period became hits, such as Au-Sukeh, J'yeah, J'yeah, Continência, and Randza.
Kloro began writing his own story when, alone, he brought Xigumandzene to the surface, heralding a new era.
In 2020, Kloro released his second album titled Cultural Revolution, in which he invites everyone to change the way they see and are in the world. Currently, Kloro releases awareness-raising songs as an activist and rapper.
