Guebuza Heads to Académico de Viseu on Loan from Black Bulls

Manuel Sérgio Cumbane, better known as "Guebuza," is the new signing for Académico de Viseu in Portugal, arriving on loan from Associação Black Bulls. This season-long loan includes an option to buy at the end of the season.

At just 18 years old, Guebuza is embarking on his first experience outside Mozambique. Previously, he was one of coach Hélder Duarte's main prospects for the Black Bulls' first team, having stood out for his discipline and defensive talent.

Now, he will strengthen the U-19 and U-23 teams of Académico de Viseu, aiming to further advance in European football. So far, Guebuza has played three games in the Moçambola, one in the Mozambique Cup, and four in the Maputo City Opening Championship.

Already integrated into his new team's squad, the young Mozambican defender is training with his teammates and is on the shortlist for the next championship match. Next round, the leaders of the National Junior Championship return home to face the Algarve team, in a match scheduled for Campo 1º de Maio.

Guebuza's transfer is seen as an important step in his career and an opportunity for development in competitive Portuguese football.
