Everything indicates that Afrodite Bar Lounge, owned by Mozambican singer Humberto Luís, will be yet another space dedicated to promoting local music, becoming a stage for Mozambican artists to shine. Located in the T3 neighborhood, near the Esquina bus stop and next to Yunny Eventos, the bar will be officially inaugurated tomorrow, August 30th.
The opening ceremony will feature a performance by Sidof David, a singer whose hit song "A Culpa é Tua" recently reached 3 million views on YouTube. Sidof David will be the main attraction on opening night, promising a memorable performance to mark the start of Afrodite Bar Lounge's activities.
But the programming for the new venue doesn't stop there. Next weekend, on September 7th, the date commemorating the Signing of the Lusaka Accords, the stage at Afrodite Bar Lounge will be occupied by Cleyton da Drena. Known for his hits that have won over the Mozambican public, Cleyton promises to deliver an energetic and captivating performance for the audience.
Humberto Luís, on his social media, expressed his satisfaction in being able to provide a space where Mozambican music can be celebrated. “At the grand reopening tomorrow, August 30th, @afroditebarlounge will host @sidofdavi and on September 7th, the Day of the Signing of the Lusaka Accords, it will host @cleyton_da_drena,” wrote the singer, demonstrating his commitment to supporting and promoting local artists.
Afrodite Bar Lounge emerges as a new meeting point for music lovers in Mozambique, offering a platform for local talent and a unique experience for the public. With Humberto Luís' vision of creating an environment that values and celebrates the richness of Mozambican music, the venue promises to be an important contributor to the country's music scene.
Expectations are high for the continued success of Afrodite Bar Lounge, which will not only provide quality entertainment but also serve as a springboard for local artists seeking recognition and opportunities to expand their careers.
