Desportivo de Nacala striker Elias Macamo is the surprise addition to the Mambas' national coach, Chiquinho Conde, for the double-header scheduled for early September. The Mozambican national team will face Mali on September 6 in Bamako and Guinea-Bissau at the Zimpeto National Stadium four days later.
Elias Macamo, was named to the final squad, despite not being included in the extensive 47-player preliminary squad. Macamo is one of two talented forwards selected by Conde for this stage, alongside Stanley Ratifo of Chemie Leipzig. His inclusion in the squad is recognition of his outstanding performance this season.
On the other hand, some notable absences mark this call. Alfonso Amade, who is without a club, and Clesio Baúque were not included in the final list. In addition, the Black Bulls forwards, Kadre and Hammed, who were in the pre-call, were also left out. The recent completion of the naturalization process for both, as well as Bruno Wilson, was not enough to guarantee them a place on the final list.
The roster reflects a mix of experienced players and new additions who can bring new dynamism to the team. The squad includes:

- Ernan Siluane – Black Bulls Association
