Refereeing team appointed for African Cup matches involving Mozambican teams.

The referees who will officiate the second leg matches of the African Cups, competitions organized under the auspices of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), involving two Mozambican teams—Ferroviário da Beira and Black Bulls—have already been announced.

Ferroviário da Beira vs. Mbabane Swallows

The match between Ferroviário da Beira and Mbabane Swallows of Eswatini, for the second leg of the qualifying round for the group stage of the African Champions League, will be officiated by a Nigerian refereeing team. The quartet responsible for this match will be led by Joseph Ogabor, assisted by Tejiri Digbori and Abdulmajeed Olaide. The fourth official will be Grema Mohammed. CAF has appointed Angolan Fernando Macao as commissioner for this match.

This match is scheduled for next Sunday at 3:00 PM, on field 1 of the Black Bulls Sports Complex in Tchumene, also known as Lalgy Arena. Ferroviário da Beira will face this challenge needing to overturn the 1-0 defeat suffered in the first leg, played in South Africa. To advance to the next phase, where they could face Mamelodi Sundowns, the Mozambican team will need to win by at least two goals.

Black Bulls vs. Alizé Fort

The match between Black Bulls and Alizé Fort, for the second leg of the CAF Cup qualifying round, will feature a refereeing team from Ivory Coast. The main referee will be Tuonifere Soro, assisted by Nouho Outtara and Eba Ettien. Kouassi Biro will be the fourth official, while Angolan Inácio Cândido will act as the CAF commissioner.

This match will take place on Saturday at 3:00 PM, also at the Lalgy Arena. Black Bulls enters this match with a comfortable advantage after a crushing 7-0 victory in the first leg. With the tie practically decided, the "bulls" await the outcome of the duel between FC 15 Agosto, from Equatorial Guinea, and AS Otohô d'Oyo, from the Republic of Congo, to find out their next opponent.

With the referees assigned and the teams ready for the challenges, expectations are high for the performance of the Mozambican representatives in the African club competitions, with hopes of advancing to the next stages of the continental competitions.
