Hélder Duarte Prepares for the First Qualifying Round of the 2024 Afro Cups with 37 Players

Portuguese coach Hélder Duarte is ready to face the challenge of the first qualifying round of the 2024 Afro Cups with the Black Bulls. For this crucial stage, Duarte has called up 37 players, demonstrating the seriousness with which the club is approaching its participation in the African competition.

The Black Bulls will play their first qualifying match this Saturday against Alez Fort of the Comoros Islands. This will be a significant moment for the team, as they seek to advance in the competition and surpass their previous performance in the Afro Cups.

In 2022, the club participated in the African Champions League, but was eliminated by Petro de Luanda in the qualifying round, failing to advance to the group stage. Now, after two years, the Black Bulls return to African competition, and Hélder Duarte will make his debut in the African Cups as coach.

The two games of the first round will be played at the Tchumene Sports Complex, the Black Bulls' "nest", where the team will count on the support of its fans to seek a positive classification.

The Black Bulls' participation and Hélder Duarte's debut in the Afro Cups are highly anticipated, and the Portuguese coach is determined to have a good campaign, bringing a new shine to the competition for the Mozambican club.
