Fashion consultant King Levi, currently in Portugal after a trip to France, announced that he will not be participating in the International Fashion Conference in Angola, scheduled to begin today, August 10th. Levi communicated his decision via social media, where he expressed his disappointment and sadness about the situation.
Levi explained that, despite having accepted Mr. Manuel Bores' invitation almost a month ago to represent Mozambique at the event, logistical problems and the organizers' failure to fulfill their commitments prevented his trip. According to Levi, the flight confirmation was not provided, and the financial impacts associated with the change affected his travel.
The fashion consultant deeply regretted not being able to attend the event in Angola and interact with African colleagues. He also mentioned that he is considering taking legal action due to the damages suffered and apologized to his fans for his absence.
The International Fashion Conference, now in its 11th edition, is a significant event for the African fashion industry, and King Levi's absence represents a loss for Mozambique's representation.
