Salmito Jordão Vilanculos, better known by his stage name Mito Chocolatinho, is celebrating another year of life. Born in 1992 in the province of Maputo, the talented singer and songwriter has won hearts with his captivating melodies in the R&B, kizomba, and zouk genres.
Mito Chocolatinho began his musical journey in 2011, influenced by friends. Together, they formed a musical group that, unfortunately, disbanded in 2013. However, this experience was only the beginning of a promising career for Mito. In 2014, he released his first solo song, entitled "Super Mulher" (Super Woman). The song quickly caught the attention of many internet users, marking the beginning of his rise in the Mozambican music scene.
In 2015, Mito released his first physical maxi-single, “Coisas Leves,” which contained five tracks. The work was well-received by the public, solidifying his position as a prominent emerging artist. The following year, he released the music video for “Super Mulher,” directed by Beto Jonhs, which was also widely appreciated. Furthermore, in 2016, Mito released the songs “Não Me Deixe Sair” and “Vou Te Casar,” collaborating with Mánaz Layzer, further expanding his reach and popularity.
Over the years, Mito Chocolatinho has demonstrated not only talent, but also an unwavering dedication to his art.
