Liga Desportiva opens today's round of the Maputo City Futsal Championship, senior men's division, hosting Académica at 8:30 PM. The teams enter the field with different objectives: Liga Desportiva, which won by a large margin in the first round, seeks to maintain its lead, while Académica, which lost its debut, seeks its first victory in the competition.
Before the main game, AD Mupro and Pérolas de Maputo will take to the field at 7:00 PM. At the same time, but at the Grupo Desportivo Iquebal pavilion, União Desportiva de Maputo will face Maputo Futsal.
The round concludes tomorrow with two matches: Atlético de Moçambique vs. Águias Especiais at 7:00 PM, and Alpha Wolves vs. Petromoc at 8:15 PM, both at the Liga Desportiva pavilion.
Petromoc leads the championship with three points, the same as Liga Desportiva, Maputo Futsal, Águias Especiais, and Pérolas de Maputo. Following them in the standings, without any points, are Académica, AD Mupro, Atlético de Moçambique, Alpha Wolves, and FJ Universal.
