The launch of the second edition of the book "Os Tambores Cantam" (The Drums Sing), written by former president Armando Emílio Guebuza, was attended by several prominent figures, including the renowned Mozambican artist MC Roger. The event took place at the Galeria-Porto in Maputo and attracted the attention of various sectors of Mozambican society.
During the launch, Mc Roger took the opportunity to personally congratulate former President Guebuza on the new edition of his literary work. In a brief conversation, the artist expressed his admiration for Guebuza's work and highlighted the book's importance to Mozambican society.
The work, written during the National Liberation Struggle and originally published in 2006, brings together about 30 poems that aim to inspire new generations. Guebuza highlighted that the new edition seeks to convey the spirit of sacrifice and struggle that were essential for the country's independence, encouraging young people to continue dreaming and building a better homeland.
