In a press conference held today, Feizal Sidat, president of the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF), clarified the entity's ongoing efforts in naturalizing players to strengthen the National Team, the Mambas.
Sidat highlighted that the FMF has been intensifying its research and contacts regarding the naturalization of players, with the aim of providing more options to the national team coach. In this context, he announced that approximately four players from Germany are in the process of joining the National Team.
“The FMF is committed to facilitating the coach's work by bringing in more talent that can make the Mambas a stronger and more competitive team,” stated Feizal Sidat. This initiative aims not only to improve the quality of football played by the National Team, but also to increase its chances of success in international competitions.
The FMF president also highlighted that the naturalization process for these players is being conducted with the utmost rigor and within legal parameters, ensuring that the new talents can integrate quickly and efficiently into the team.
