Mozambican sport is about to gain new prominence with the recent initiative of the Black Bulls Association. The main field of the Tchumene Sports Complex, owned by Black Bulls, will now host night games starting on May 1st.
Confirmation came from Black Bulls' sporting director, Dino Dulá, in response to the recent work on the floodlights surrounding the field. "This work aims to guarantee artificial light on field number 1, so that we can host night games," explained Dulá. "The technicians are currently installing the recommended floodlights for this purpose."“
Expectations are high among fans and players, with the possibility of night games debuting in the Moçambola (Mozambican football league). Dulá stated that the plan is to have everything finalized by the end of this month, providing a new dynamic to the games and allowing fans to enjoy the spectacle under artificial lights.
The Tchumene Sports Complex is already known for hosting the home games of not only Black Bulls, but also Brera Tchumene, two emblematic teams in the Moçambola league. With the addition of night games, an even more vibrant and exciting atmosphere is expected, raising the level of competition and providing a unique experience for spectators.
This initiative not only benefits local clubs, but also contributes to the development of sport in the country, offering additional opportunities for young talents to shine in the spotlight.
