During his lifetime, Bang was a mentor to several artists in Mozambique, giving visibility to talented musicians who lacked the opportunity to appear on the music scene. Above all, he had a knack for discovering talent, in addition to promoting artists who were already known in the market, elevating them to a higher status through shows inside and outside the country via the now-defunct BANG ENTERTAINMENT movement.
Bang passed away a little over a year ago and leaves behind a great void in the hearts of Mozambicans, especially musicians who have never had a mentor like him again.
Classic Nova is in a state of uncertainty, without knowing what it would be like or where it would be today if the projects it had with the late BANG had been realized! In their imagination, the champion of Mozambican culture would have to be alive for that question to have an answer.
