It's another day and we continue to present the second season of "Voices of the Pearl of the Indian Ocean" with the talented Mozambican artist Jushua.

Jushua brings to Apathany the track 'Rodei o Mundo' (I Traveled the World), a declaration of love from a man who climbed mountains and crossed seas to find his soulmate, a pure expression of love. This track is special to the artist; it's the title of his first EP, which represents his own story of struggle, challenges, and all the experiences he's lived since deciding to embark on this musical journey.

“I chose this song to submit to this project because it’s my most reliable song; it had to be given only to a reliable project. *I toured the world as* *The title of my 1st EP* portrays my own story of struggle, challenges, and all the experiences I’ve lived since I decided to embark on this musical journey,” Jushua said in an interview with Apathany.

The interview also revealed a lesser-known facet of Jushua: his background in Human Resource Management (HRM). Surprisingly, even with a certificate in this area, he revealed that music has always been his true passion, an “umbilical” connection that has never been severed. Reflecting on his career choice, Jushua stated that if he weren't a musician, he would still be a musician, highlighting the depth of his commitment to the art of sound.

“I have a degree in Human Resources Management, with a certificate and everything, but I'm not pursuing it. My connection with music was umbilical, and it was never severed. Today, I am a performer, composer, producer, and musical director, and today, when someone asks me what I would be if I weren't a musician, I answer that I would be a musician,” said Jushua.

Despite dedicating more time to the field than to the studio this year, with notable collaborations, Jushua continues to forge his own musical path. His versatility as a performer, composer, producer, and musical director showcases the breadth of his talent.

The highly anticipated premiere of the production at Apathany studios is scheduled for the 25th of this month, promising not only a musical experience, but also a deeper glimpse into the artist behind the melody. The EP “Rodei o Mundo” presents itself as a living testament to Jushua's unique journey, capturing not only the musical richness, but also the nuances of his life and personal experiences. This release will certainly be eagerly awaited by fans and enthusiasts of Mozambican music.
