Bakhil, a young Mozambican singer, is preparing to return to the spotlight after a period of absence with the release of his debut in the local language, "Emakwa," scheduled for the 26th of this month.

In an exclusive interview with Apathany, the young artist, known for hits like “Velhos Tempos”, “Me Fala”, “Agradeço” and others, revealed that during his hiatus he has been working on new music. As a way of thanking his fans and followers for their invaluable support, he is releasing the track “NRIMAKA” in his native language.

When asked about his plans for the year that is coming to an end, Bakhil surprised the Apathany journalist with his answer. “For this year, I’m going to release this song. Actually, the idea was to release an EP, but due to time constraints, I thought it best to release just one track so that everyone has time to listen and dance the night before.” It's worth noting that the mention of an EP suggests that in the first months of 2024, Bakhil might gift his fans and followers with an EP, perhaps.

The Apathany journalist delved into the issue of the strategy of releasing a song sung in his native language upon his return to the spotlight. The young artist's response once again surprised: “I believe that language doesn't prevent fans from supporting or enjoying the music. I often say that music is felt. I have faith that the song will be well-received, and as an example, the feedback so far has been very positive.” Bakhil also added: “I always wanted to write and sing in my language to share my origins with my fans.”

Now, all that remains is to wait until the 26th to hear Bakhil's latest song, sung in his native language.
