Considered one of the most internationally renowned and dynamic musicians in Mozambique today, Stewart Sukuma presents a blend of traditional Mozambican and contemporary music. Already looking forward to this moment, the musician says:
“"Friends in Brazil, I'm waiting for you so I can embrace you with our music. See you soon!"”
Stewart Sukuma recently returned to Austria where he had the privilege of continuing this fantastic collaboration with Werner Puntigam, a multidisciplinary artist: trombonist, conch player, photographer, multimedia artist, and other valuable musicians, to pay homage to a great Austrian composer: Anton Bruckner!
Stewart Sukuma has known Werner Puntigam for over 13 years and can safely say that the best moments of his career were thanks to him. The long tours he did in Europe were intense and exciting! Austria, Germany and Slovenia will forever remain in his heart, and all those moments were alongside this man whom God reunited with in a great tribute show to Anton Bruckner.
It is worth highlighting that musician Stewart Sukuma recently participated in the grand celebration honoring Ghorwane, a band he witnessed being born, growing, and succeeding—an undeniable reference and source of inspiration for himself and many musicians from our homeland.
