NITAFA NAWENA by Mr Bow is a classic that became a national anthem.

NITAFA NAWENA was played live by the band of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique on the past national holiday (Peace Day) to enhance the collective wedding of the Police members that took place yesterday, October 4th of this year.

It's not news that King Bow's success is well-known; besides creating songs that are on everyone's lips, the artist has collected several awards in Mozambique, Africa, and throughout the Lusophone world. We recently reported that the artist was among the top 20 most played songs in South Africa, occupying the tenth position.

The song that propelled her to this level is titled HOLOLOLO, which she made in collaboration with the Queen of Music in Africa, the South African singer MAKHADZI, who on her last visit to her homeland for the Bawito Music show had the honor of staying at the home of the couple Bow and Liloca.

During her stay, the singer showed off her culinary skills by preparing a delicious xima for everyone's meal, while on the other side of the studios they were cooking up HOLOLOLO, which would later become a huge hit song in Africa.

NITAFA NAWENA, the song in question, has already won several awards, including the Ngoma Moçambique award for being the most popular song, and has won top radio and TV awards. It is undoubtedly a must-play song at parties, especially weddings.
