“"Attention Portugal: The book is available for you, buy it and I'll sign it afterwards! Sew a lot and the more you sew, the more love you'll have in your lives!" This was the message with which lovers of good reading received this good news from musician Stewart Sukuma.
The book is available throughout Portugal via the Atlântico bookstore.
THE TAILOR AND THE ART OF SEWING LOVE is a suggestive work that educates people on the subject of love, conceived by the musician as yet another legacy he leaves for the world, as he has already been doing in his music and in his coherent speeches, positioning himself as a defender of the people.
As an example, there was the song he made with the late, beloved musician Oliver Mtukudzi, entitled "Guardians of the Light," which he recently made a point of recalling, giving us a bit of the history of how that song was conceived and with what objectives.
“When Oliver Mtukudzi and I sat down to write this song, it was with the aim of uniting Africans in particular and the world in general with a single purpose: to call for a better life for all, with justice and equal rights and obligations for everyone in all areas: Africa, this is the moment to raise our fists for a democracy tailored to our standards. For the protection of our tradition and our riches.“
This is the goal for which these two artists have joined forces.
