In an interview with Tua TV for the program “Freddy Jossias Show,” the groom's family (Nelo Barroso dos Santos), represented by his uncle, revealed that the lobolo negotiations began at 3 PM on Friday the 11th and only concluded at 3 AM on Saturday, August 12th, but that everything went well and the traditions of both families were upheld. They further revealed that:
Mozambican tradition is very complex, which is why the negotiations took so long, but everything went well because they came prepared to return to Angola with Lizha James, who, incidentally, is already in Angola and will now consider it her second home. This was revealed by one of Nelo dos Santos' sisters, who didn't hold back in praising him when questioned by Freddy Jossias about her brother's behavior. "He's more than an excellent companion; he's like a father to us, and not only that, he's helped so many people," were the words of Nelo's sister.
Also praising the groom was "Caixa Preta," Nelo dos Santos's confidant brother, who considers his brother to have a huge heart and easily forgive grievances, which is why he assured that Lizha is in good hands.
The Angolan singer “Da Beleza”, who was accompanied by the groom's family, also assured that Mana Lizha is in good hands and that Freddy Jossias could rest easy, as he had shown concern about Lizha's trip to Angola. This fact was reiterated by the groom during the interview that took place at Maputo International Airport when the groom's family departed from Mozambique for Angola yesterday, August 15th, although Lizha had announced it the day before.
The groom invited Freddy Jossias live on air to the second wedding party taking place in Angola and offered to pay for his travel expenses.
