It's another week, and "Voices of the Pearl of the Indian Ocean" arrives on your screen to bring you another musical gem from this beautiful country.

This time, we're heading to Sofala province, specifically the Manga neighborhood, where we find a great voice that needs no introduction: Lázaro Sampaio, a Gospel singer. Come with me and discover more about Lázaro.

He discovered his artistic side very early, at only 12 years old. His first recorded track was titled "MANGwanane," talking about his long journey in the music field. Lázaro Sampaio let slip to Apathany that his biggest challenge was not having sponsorship. "The challenge I faced was not having sponsorship," said Lázaro.

Lázaro added, when speaking about the national music market, that he believes it is inspiring for new talents. "I believe the music market is indeed inspiring for new talents," stated Lázaro.
