The lobolo (traditional wedding) ceremony of singer Lizha James with Angolan businessman Nelo Barroso dos Santos was successfully completed yesterday in a private ceremony at the home of the bride's sister, attended by the groom's family.
The civil wedding ceremony follows today.
Nelo Barroso dos Santos was accompanied by his mother and uncles to fulfill the traditional wedding ceremony known as LOBOLO, a beautiful celebration and, incidentally, the most important for African tradition and especially Mozambican culture, as it identifies our origins. The ceremony was carried out according to the bride's family's wishes. Today, Saturday, August 12th, is reserved for the civil wedding ceremony and the party itself, where all the guests will be present to celebrate this moment.
Therefore, following the schedule we previously presented, the XIGUIANE ceremony will take place tomorrow, followed by the honeymoon.
