On the morning of Friday, December 29th, the city of Maputo witnessed the triumphant arrival of Reinildo Mandava, a talented player for Atlético de Madrid. The athlete, a key player in the defense of the renowned Spanish club, landed on Mozambican soil on a visit that promises to strengthen the ties between the player and his homeland.
Reinildo's arrival was not a solitary one, as he was accompanied by his childhood friend, Gildo Vilanculos. Together, they embark on a journey that not only celebrates Mandava's sporting success but also rekindles the roots and personal connections that shaped his path.
The immediate purpose of the visit is to get involved in preparations for the Mambas training camp, the Mozambican national team. That same afternoon, the pair will travel to South Africa, more precisely Johannesburg, where they will join the other members of the team for intensive training and strategy sessions aimed at future competitions.
