Samora Machel, a charismatic leader and central figure in the national liberation struggle, lost his life on October 19, 1986, in Mbuzini, following a plane crash. Despite his untimely death, he continues to be remembered as a symbol of Mozambique's independence, unity, and sovereignty.<\/p>\n
