This Saturday morning, the corridors of Maputo Central Hospital, the country's largest healthcare facility, were given a new lease of life by the visit of presenter Gabriel J\u00fanior, known as "Son of the People," accompanied by members of his supportive community.<\/p>\n

The visit included the Pediatric Emergency Department and First Aid Center, with the goal of conveying words of comfort, hope, and human closeness to hospitalized patients. In addition to emotional support, various items were distributed, including foodstuffs such as oranges, bananas, and juices, as well as toys, dolls, and cars, which brought smiles to the hospitalized children.<\/p>\n

Accompanied by healthcare professionals, Gabriel J\u00fanior and his group toured the wards, interacting with patients and their families. During these shared moments, some requests were made to the group, such as the installation of televisions with TV Sucesso programming and a refrigerator to better preserve food and fruit.<\/p>\n

Responding to the appeals, Gabriel J\u00fanior committed to delivering the requested equipment to the hospital's management by next Monday. The televisions will come equipped with ZAP set-top boxes, with a one-year paid subscription, ensuring continuous access to entertainment and information content.<\/p>\n

Speaking to TV Sucesso, the presenter emphasized that this initiative is part of his community's ongoing mission, which aims to extend the spirit of solidarity to other social spaces, such as orphanages and prisons. The next visit is already scheduled for a prison in Maputo later this month.<\/p>\n
