On this 6th of May, the Mozambican singer Neyma Julia Alfredo<\/strong>, known as Neyma or diva of Marrabenta<\/strong>, complete 46 years old<\/strong>, celebrating not only another year of life, but also a career that has marked generations.<\/p>\n

Born in 1979 in the city of Maputo, Neyma stood out from an early age for her strength and passion for music. In 1995, she gained visibility by winning second place in a talent competition. Fantasy<\/em>, paving the way for a successful career. Her talent was honed in Mozambican schools, clubs, and stages until, in 1999, she released her first commercial album. Fights<\/em> \u2013 a work that catapulted her to fame with themes such as \u201c"Fights"\u201d<\/em>, \u201c"Mother, the Most Beautiful Virtue"\u201d<\/em> and \u201c"Happy Beach"\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Over the years, Neymar has become one of the biggest names in... Marrabenta<\/strong>, Zouk<\/strong> and Kizomba<\/strong>, winning the affection of audiences both inside and outside of Mozambique.<\/p>\n
