Mozambican musician Valter Art\u00edstico, who recently recovered from a serious traffic accident, used his social media to publicly thank the entities and figures who participated in a meeting dedicated to combating road insecurity in the country. The meeting took place this week and brought together representatives from the Municipality of Matola, the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM), the Christian Council of Mozambique, the Mozambican Association of Victims of Road Accidents and Occupational Rehabilitation (AMVIRO), and other partners.<\/p>\n

In his message, Valter highlighted:
\n\u201cMy sincere thanks to the Municipality of Matola, in the person of Councillor Julieta Chilengue, to the Christian Council of Mozambique, to the PRM (Police of the Republic of Mozambique), to the representatives of AMVIRO (Association of Road Transport Companies of Matola) and to all partners for this morning's constructive meeting. May we continue together, united in the fight against road insecurity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The artist's statement comes at a time of significant recovery after weeks of hospitalization at Maputo Central Hospital, where he was being treated for injuries resulting from the accident. Recently, he also revealed that he has fully recovered his speech, bringing relief to his fanbase and the Mozambican cultural community.<\/p>\n
