Cervejas de Mo\u00e7ambique, SA (CDM) announced the temporary closure of its manufacturing unit located in the district of Marracuene, Maputo province, following an incident of invasion and looting that occurred on the afternoon of November 11, 2024.<\/p>\n
According to the company's official statement, the intruders broke down the main gate, gaining access to the premises and looting an unspecified quantity of beer. Fortunately, the incident did not result in any injuries to the employees present at the site.<\/p>\n
Temporary Closure<\/p>\n
As a precautionary measure, CDM has decided to temporarily shut down operations at its Marracuene plant to assess the damage and ensure the safety of workers and facilities.<\/p>\n
