Andr\u00e9 Jorge Vitorino dos Reis Manhi\u00e7a, or simply Andr\u00e9 Manhi\u00e7a, is one of the most influential and versatile voices in Mozambican media. In 1994, Andr\u00e9 took his first steps as a DJ in the main nightclubs of Nampula, his hometown. Around the same time, he co-founded DEPAL (Dejo and Paulo) Entertainment, an organization focused on event production, expanding his influence on the local cultural scene.<\/p>\n
Two years later, in 1996, he began his career as a radio announcer at R\u00e1dio Encontro in Nampula, where he quickly gained a loyal audience.
