Born in Maputo in 1994, Cl\u00e9sio Palmirim David Bauque built a solid international career, beginning with Ferrovi\u00e1rio de Maputo. In September 2012, he took a major step forward by signing with Benfica, one of Portugal's biggest clubs, where he joined Benfica B, scoring one goal in 10 appearances. His time with the Reds was capped by a loan spell with the Harrisburg City Islanders in the USL Pro in the United States, where he played 20 matches and scored five goals.<\/p>\n
In 2015, coach Rui Vit\u00f3ria promoted Cl\u00e9sio to Benfica's first team, where he made his debut against Tondela as a right-back, covering for the injured N\u00e9lson Semedo.
