The winner will guarantee a place in the southern regional phase of the competition, corresponding to the round of 16, where they will face Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Black Bulls, as defined in the recent draw.<\/p>\n
Maxaquene, who already beat Liga Desportiva 3-0 this season in the tenth round of the National Championship, Division II - City Stage, enters as the favorite. However, Liga Desportiva still has a chance to advance, as teams often exceed expectations in knockout matches. Currently, in the Maputo City Championship, Maxaquene is in third place with 29 points, while Liga Desportiva is in 12th place with 15 points.<\/p>\n
In the round of 16 of the South phase, Brera Tchumene will face Ferrovi\u00e1rio de Maputo, Costa do Sol will play against \u00c1guias Especiais de Gaza, and Estrela Vermelha will face Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Desportiva de Vilankulo.<\/p>\n
In the Central region, the scheduled games are Uni\u00e3o Desportiva do Songo against Liga Desportiva de Sofala, Ferrovi\u00e1rio da Beira against Chingale, and Text\u00e1frica do Chimoio against Matchedje de Mocuba.<\/p>\n
In the North Zone, the matches determined by the draw are Ferrovi\u00e1rio de Nampula against Desportivo de Pemba and Desportivo de Nacala against Ferrovi\u00e1rio de Lichinga. In this region, only one representative will advance to the quarterfinals, requiring two qualifying rounds to determine the regional representative in the national stage of the competition.<\/p>\n
